That's right! I am so excited. Of course, anyone who would like to be here is invited. Rick and Duckboots will be arriving Friday afternoon on April 7th and staying til Saturday afternoon about 3pm when they will go off to Ricks concerts in Connecticut. They must get some sleep so come early Friday for a full evening and we can pile up people who would like to stay til next day. Than a whole day of music, talking, etc.

I'm sorry, anna. I shouldn't have posted like that, but I was disappointed. There's no way our schedule will permit us to come on a Friday. I had thought Rick was staying closer to here or else in Branford. Thanks for your usual kind hospitality. I'm sure you'll have a wonderful visit.

Sorry, anna, I lapsed into inter-thread creepiness. Spaw, I posted after the concert (approx. 7:30-10 p.m.--church, remember?). I neither intended to throw nor did I throw stools (of the wooden OR fecal variety)at any time. Besides, that was only if the audience threw rotten tomatoes at us. They were very well-behaved, appreciative, & clapped a lot. I also have my(faltering) reputation to maintain. This, after all, my church family.

So, who's free to go to anna's a Friday in April to meet Rick & Heather? (How's that, anna?)

Count me in! My wife will be away, but I would love to drive down, after work, on that Friday. I have to leave Saturday afternoon, though, because, like last time, there is a show in NYC that I want to see.

Should I bring my guitar too? Will you have a song circle, like the last gathering? We had such a good time last January. Will you be making arrangements with the motel again, like last time, or will there be enough room to crash at your place?

Roger, this might not be as silly as you think. I haven't talked to Frank about this, but how about booking us a concert near you....this is the way things start in the folk world, trust me! Lets see now...Frank might want to travel on the Concorde (I'll be happy with a WW11 C-47) and after the concert we'll give you the best lesson you ever had!! Being Canadian, and American, it could be a multi-cultural event...I'll bring a hockey stick!

They won't discount thr rooms. A double goes for $65 per night. If you don't mind you're more than welcome to sleep on my big couch or on a blowup bed. I've been told the couch is very comfortable.

If too many of us show up on Friday night, I have a feeling we'll all be up much too late, playing and singing, and Rick will be too tired to drive to Connecticut and perform, on Saturday, especially after travelling from Toronto, on Friday.
