There is a software that you can get to actually CONVERT it, but if all you want to do is play it, then you can open up your file in Quicktime and then save it...

Paddy, if you have a 200 MHz PC or better I believe that Real Jukebox from www.realaudio.com is available as Freeware. You have to wade through a lot of crap to find the free version.

Real Audio.com does not have a monopoly on producing RA encoders, even if it appears to be the case. You will find others at zdnet.com (Downloads) but I've not used any myself. Regards, John

Click here to get past most of the advertising and get to a place where you can download the free version of RealProducer Basic 7. When you run the program, you choose "record from file" if what you want to do is convert a file. Another choice is "record from media" (like from a CD), and I can't recall what the third choice is.
