I think, that The Mudcat Cafe is a very good Database. But I´m looking for more good Links about Bluegrass/Bluegrass-Songs/Bluegrass Tabs and so on. Is there somebody who can help me?

Thank you

Have you checked at the Mudcat Links? It is on the menu bar up top. Click on it and scroll down. I don't know if there are any on Bluegrss, but I'll bet there are. Good luck.

If you have specific questions on certain songs etc., try posting a thread with the most specific title you can...someone on here may be able to help.

All the best,

katlaughing

If you put "@bluegrass" into the search engine you'll find a dozen songs to look into.

A Web search for "bluegrass songbook" brings up The Great Bluegrass Songbook, which was developed from a bluegrass songbook initiated by Motoya Kitagawa. Also, Cybergrass, for all sorts of bluegrass stuff.

Here is fun search for you.

go to "http://www.altavista.com" (the search engine place) and in the query-box type in links:http://www.mudcat.org

You will receive a detailed list of ALL sites that have links to the MudCat......from "pennywhistles" to the "Smithsonian"

When you find a good site, use the "reverse links" to locate folk of kindred spirits.

Sorry, gave you bad info

1. Go to AltaVista
2. type link:
3. enter the URL and you will have the connections

For ALL of the previous reasons.

Maybe also, it may be worth seeing what discusion there is in alt.music.bluegrass. I don't know what instrument you play but altbanjo also seems to have a number of bluegrass players (I visit that newsgroup sometimes but I try to play and am interested in "Irish" style tenor - not many of us there).
