Bagatelle went into chapter 11 (Bankruptsy) last night and the court appointed reciever will not honnor our contract for tonight, so Sorcha Dorcha will be at BREWSKYS 7th Street between 2nd and 3rd avenues, New York City, St. Patricks night (tonight!) from 7pm to 11pm. Sorry if the change of plans inconviences anyone.

The receivers must be crazy, Larry. If you don't pull in more than enough custom to justify your fee, you must be charging a lot more than I think likely.

I've still got the tape in the car stereo.I was giving a lift to a couple of musicians for a session on Tuesday - "What's that you've got playing - is it the Chieftains?" And that was from a man who knows his Irish music.

That really is a lift, Kev. I will tell the guys! Well, St. Pats in New York bars are packed with or without a band. We were going to play at a VERY small fee for new york on St. Pats, as the place was having troubles. So we were getting $6oo for the night. However, when I went a few blocks around with our tape, a publican looked up at the sky and said, Thank you saint Pat, so I knew we had found the right place to play tonigh.

Larry, I was going to post this praise privately, but the tape is really good--I was especially impressed by the song about Amadou--you had posted the lyrics, but boy, there is much more to it that that--social conscience with a great beat!!

Sorry about the change of venue--they don't know what they missed!!

Well folks:
The change was just fine. The welcome by Garry at Brewskys was very good indeed. Couldnt get another person in the place, and other than the heavy ciggy smoke, everything was great.
