Subject: Session Tunes: Computer Software From: Tim Salt Date: 26 Mar 00 - 07:00 AM I was recently told about some computer software or an internet site where it is possible to access well known and lesser known session tunes, play music samples and print off the sheet music. Has anybody heard of this and know where it can be found? Tim |
Subject: RE: BS: Session Tunes: Computer Software From: Jon Freeman Date: 26 Mar 00 - 07:39 AM Tim read Website for tunes as it mentions a few good sites for tunes. Many of them require ABC software to play the tunes but there is plenty of free software around. Details can be found at Chris Walshaws ABC Home Page mentioned in that thread. John Chambers Tune Search provides the files in MIDI as well as ABC and gif. The chances are that you already have a MIDI player installed and will probably be able to play those straight off. Jon |
