an honest and sincere apology, really. It was a bad, wicked thing to do and I promise I won't do it again!It was only that I'm having such a lot of fun being a wicked god-mother ( I have got that right, haven't I?)but I know I said I wouldn't, not after the toothbrush, but it was so hard to resist and you can always lose it...and anyway, I'm sorry......still friends?

Where it not for the fact that I've had a temperature bordering on 39C for 3 of the last 5 days, you would be in severe trouble.... but it herm, "broke" on Thursday, so consider your punishment postponed.....

We can always get another toothbrush you know......

The card - the temperature didn't go until Friday, when I finally got a doctor to listen to me and got penicillin. Here's a silly thing - two different doctors prescribed penicillin (a potentially life threatening medicine if I were allergic) over the phone, based on two different versions (although similar) of my symptoms.... Neither one would visit my home. But could I get a certificate for work from them without seeing either? No. Had to phone a third doctor for that!! Have finally regained use of throat, the swelling stopped just this side of dangerous and it no longer looks like a pound of chopped liver.

Thanks, Jeffp, better now, and returning to work tomorrow (Wed), have decided it was tonsilitis, and am now of no use as a radiator, as temp has been normal for 2 days. Not necessarily consecutive, but there we go.....

Of course, the blood pressure is still raised, as that damned card is still up........
