For those who were listening and performing last night on HearMe; It was my first time there and I was bumbling around (not responding to questions, etc). I certainly heard some excellent music. I apoligize for what might have seemed like rudeness - I assure all, it was more ignorance than rudeness. I'm still trying to get the hang of it and am open to any advice. I'll certainly return as my schedule permits. Jim

Jim STOP IT! You weren't being rude! Having technical difficulties is all part of modern society, especially the internet. We all completely understand! Come back soon, and be sure to get a mic so we can hear your contributions!

Jim, I you have nothing to apologise for.

A lot of the answers to problems caused by "bumbling around" are solved by continuing to Buble around until it starts to make sense. I did that with computers in the days of Vic 20's and CP/M systems etc and over the years, while not being an expert, have learnt to be what I consider to be a pretty reasonable survivor.

You will find that just about everbody in the Hearme room will try to help and offer good advice so maybe if you are in there just ask a question in the text chat while the session is going on. If you have any more complicated problems, I will try to help. My email address is jonbanjo@freeuk.com. Also, clicking on the banner on the opening page to this Hearme room provides another method of sending an email to me most of the time - sometimes it even provides a means of live chat if somebody is stuck and I am available.

Jon

We've all been there, some of us still are, JamesJim, so don't worry about it. We're all learning and helping each other along the way, as Jon says, esp. Jon! He is so patient with our questions!

Maybe we should call him Patient Jon, or Jon the Patient? (just how would you blazon that?)
