Subject: RE: Lyr/Chords Req: best sites for chords From: BlueJay Date: 23 Apr 00 - 03:24 AM KT- It's really a mess out there, as I'm sure you've already discovered. You can try checking the Artist's website. Some of them list lyrics, fewer still the chords. There have been sites like OLGA, which list chords and lyrics, but these are elusive, and generally don't have the exact song that I want. I think there may be some chord/tab sites listed in the Mudcat links. I used to know a couple of good ones that now seem to be closed. I have to agree with the folks above: Post a request on the Mudcat. I've never seen such a musically diverse group. Though it is a site devoted mainly to Folk/Blues, I'm certain someone out there can link you to the sheet music for "Moonlight Sonata" or some good Grunge songs. Post your requests. If I can help, I will. Try to include the song title in your thead title. |

Subject: RE: Lyr/Chords Req: best sites for chords From: GUEST,lenslady88@hotmail.com Date: 24 Apr 00 - 05:30 PM I am new to mudcatcafe. I would like to find a site other than olga(harmony central) that lists lyrics & chords. Sorry if you have answered this before - but I am still somewhat unsure of the internet, and would prefer if someone would email me at : lenslady88@hotmail.com Also if someone knows the lyrics & chords to the following two songs; I would so appreciate receiving them. The first is that old chestnut: "Always" You know , I'll be loving you .....always; as heard on the Honeymooners. A couple of tough chord changes in there. The second is a gripping song I heard ONCE on WFUV and never forgot - it may be called Mansion on the Hill __(NOT the SPringsteen version) and goes something like this - my daddy owns this town, he built the mill. we live up on the mannsion on the hill.. we had slaves before the war.we don't need them anymore. money talks, money always will. This song goes on to describe an increasingly hairraising story of a rich man's irresponsibility. Well, if you have the answer to these questions, please email me. Thanks. |
