Subject: Rue de la Paix From: Mark Cohen Date: 29 Apr 00 - 12:41 AM Way back in the Good Old Days, 1969 to be exact, I went to my first show at the Main Point in Bryn Mawr, near Philadephia. The feature act was a guy who had been in the Chad Mitchell Trio, named John Denver. The opener was somebody named Emmett "Robbie" Robinson, who did a song called "Rue de la Paix." I don't remember anything about the song except liking it. It's not in the DT. Anybody know anything about it, or Robbie Robinson? I know about the other guy. Aloha, Mark |
