Hi Everybody, Some of you may have received a similar thread from me before.

I'm Brad from Australia and we have a C.D. for sale.

It is a double C.D. with four bush bands on it.

We have already had one double C.D. released and now this is our second double.

If anyone is interested, I'll be happy to send you one.

The C.D's have many catchy tunes and can be danced to.

If you want to know more, contact this thread or my email address,

Thanks!

Brad from Down Under!

Good luck with your CD, Brad. Can you tell us what's on it? Traditional tunes, or stuff you wrote yourselves? Sung, or instrumental?

Hi,

The C.D.'s contain only instrumental tracks and no singing. The instruments that are used in the recordings are:

-Button Accordions -Tin whistle -Guitar (and slide guitar) -Trombone -Piano -Drums/purcussion -Recorder -Double Bass -Piano Accordion -Violin -Banjo Mandolin etc

I don't know how to do mp3s!

Didn't write the tunes ourselves. All traditional.

From Bradley!

Is a bush band anything like a thong bikini?

Peter.

G'day again Brad,

I gather the CD sets did not quite make it to the (Australian) National Folk Festival - even though the covers and jewel cases did! I didn't run into a copy, partly because I was too busy getting our Bush Dance double CD set around to people.

I will probably send a copy of ours down to Peter Ellis and see if I can get a copy of yours to review for Mulga Wire #139, June 2000. Both sets (our new one and your last Quadrille Mania set) have been popular with dancers ... and probably with musicians as well, but there are somewhat fewer of them.

Regards,

Bob Bolton

If you send me a copy, I can play some on Mudcat Radio and make MP3's for you. That's why we're here, to help the musicians, provide exposure and keep the art alive (I didn't mean Thieme either, but I'd do what I could for that too). The Mudcat Cafe, 5 W. Gay St., West Chester, PA 19380. Good luck and thanks for hangin around.
