He used a tune called Rory Dall's Port. After his death another tune was used, and it is this tune that Dougie 'plays' around. The Corries version of this 'new' tune is closer to the melody called Hi Oro 'S Na Horo Eile (second set) found in MacDonald's Gesto Collection of Highland Music. |
