Subject: RE: Thought for the day - April 7, 2000 From: Mbo Date: 07 May 00 - 12:43 AM How true, how true! Muses DO have the tendency to do that, don't they? Sure lifted my LID! BTW my sister ADORES Astrophel & Stella! --Mbo |
Subject: RE: Thought for the day - April 7, 2000 From: Billy the Bus Date: 07 May 00 - 03:01 AM Hmmm... Weekatart, methinks the same Muse bit us at the same time? Hope your writin's going well, I'm spilling the beans off-line. Alas, I missed Roger Frost - it has to be he - on HearMe. I just have to get a flat-rate ISP (and second phone-line).... LOL - Sam |
Subject: RE: Thought for the day - April 7, 2000 From: Amergin Date: 07 May 00 - 03:21 AM I love that quote, Kat. Problem is sometimes my heart is encased to where I can't see in, and nor can I see out. Amergin |
Subject: RE: Thought for the day - April 7, 2000 From: JenEllen Date: 07 May 00 - 12:01 PM LOL...a thought that is set a month before? Too good to be true. Were I still in April, life might be a little easier to bear! Showers or no, the May flowers are slow in coming. Enough of the biting and beating lately, and not near enough musing I guess. Thanks kat. |
Subject: RE: Thought for the day - April 7, 2000 From: catspaw49 Date: 07 May 00 - 12:11 PM Personally, I just wondered why we were dragging up something from a month ago............ Now I ain't sayin' that your mind works slow or nothin' kat, but, uh.............Well, its a nice quote anyway. Spaw |

Subject: RE: Thought for the day - April 7, 2000 From: McGrath of Harlow Date: 07 May 00 - 03:18 PM Perehaps we could start having the calendars go back at the start of May to give us a longer summer. And forward in Octoiber to shorten winter.
Well, it'd make just as much sense as messing around with clocks twice a year the way we do... |
Subject: RE: Thought for the day - April 7, 2000 From: katlaughing Date: 07 May 00 - 03:22 PM LOL, or we could do away with the concept of TIME altogether. Heard a wonderful program this morning of a man who has written a book called No Word for Time all about Native American languages and spirituality and his journey in learning the way of the MicMacs of which he is a member. Very interesting concepts of trusting Nature and being in harmony, with literally no word for the concept of the passage of time. Brings up all kinds of intriguing possibilities. Much more to my liking than not! |

Subject: RE: Thought for the day - April 7, 2000 From: keltcgrasshoppper Date: 07 May 00 - 06:26 PM The thought of not marking time..may help one face the pains of broken hearts and shattered words.. The thought of not marking time.. would help us not notice age...not make it sooooo important.. The micmac and most other native people held their elders with great respect..not like we do now.. Heres to spring may it be forever new, fresh, exciting, and without end....It's a beautiful day in massachusetts...KGH love your thoughts Kat.. |
Subject: RE: Thought for the day - April 7, 2000 From: TheMuse Date: 07 May 00 - 06:30 PM kat, I didn't even notice the wrong month for your thought until it was so nicely pointed out to you. . . .guess that shows I'm so "with it" I wouldn't be much of a muse to anyone!
