Irish Washerwoman (seroiusly) wants help on technique, method and soap suds for my new wooden washboard. No dirty laundry !!

If you've done hand laundry without a washboard, you know the technique. Just use the washboard in lieu of your other hand.

Try using different kinds of thimbles on your fingers, (metal, plastic, etc) or metal guitar fingerpicks.

Okay......I'll bite..........Which way is this sucker going to go? So far we have one vote for laundry and one vote for music, and mine is undecided.......a little thread clarification needed.
