I think it is more likely Music Hall/Vaudeville or Country music, but a friend is looking for the words to this song

"There's a hole in my heart where your love used to be;

Hopefully it is something someone knows. I think I know the first line from somewhere, but I can't place it.

Gene, your suggestion of Homer and Jethro sounds like the kind of song I think this is. I don't remember it well enough though.

It's got to be mentioned that these guys were terrific musicians. They could both be found jamming in the back during their sets at the National Barn Dance playing up to date be-bop and jazz on guitar and mandolin.

As far as I'm concerned, they gave Country Music a good name.
