Subject: Song Title Req: Irish, contains 'Zuyder Zee'
From: rick@passport.ca

I have heard an Irish ballad on local radio, which I need the title to, if anyone knows it. It uses the expression "Zuyder Zee" a few times, as in going down to Zuyder Zee. Quite a lovely tune, I have no idea what the title is, and I would like to get it on CD.

Lyrics are not necessary unles handy.

I would prefer a reply to rick@passport.ca but I will check here often.

Thanks for any help you can provide.

Could be Michael Smith's THE DUTCHMAN but with so few clues it could also be a number of other songs. "Let us go to the banks of the ocean, Where the walls rise above the zuider zee Long ago, I used to be a young man, Now, dear Margaret remembers that for me".
