My condolances to the millions who weren't in Windsor, Ont. Saturday night for Rick's concert — without doubt the best I've attended in years.

I hope it won't embarrass Rick, but for those of you who haven't heard him I have to say this guy is awe-inspiring to watch and listen to. His stage presence is so laid back it is a constant surprise to hear that level of instrumental and vocal expertise flowing with so little apparent effort.

And Sandy, you were spot on about him as a teacher. I learned more in the afternoon workshop than I've been able to pick up in the last couple of years and over Sunday morning coffee on the patio he showed me enough licks and tricks to keep me working for months.

Truly a wonderful weekend of music. Thanks Rick.

.......and I'm not surprised. Highly underrated, a real folk musician and teacher of the first order. When I listen to his CD's I'm amazed that I even know the guy, let alone consider him a friend. Glad it went so well and happy that you enjoyed it David.

BTW, I came in from a day of yard work to find a note from Heather saying that "Acoustic Workshop" is BACK ON THE NET!!!!!Unfortunately tonite it was too late and I had missed it, but its now on again at CIUT at 7 PM Eastern on Monday evening. Next week for sure. I'll start a thread next week on Sunday or so with a blue clicky to the site.

Yeah, 'Spaw — I bought both his CDs at the concert. Listened to the first one today. Wonderful! Only got thru about three cuts on the This One's The Dreamer, and so far it's at least as good — maybe better. Now, do you think we could talk him into doing one that's all blues?????

Wow, that is wonderful about Acoustic Workshop! Don't forget to remind us, Spaw, please!?

Thanks, David, for letting us know, even though we are green with envy, it is always great to hear from those of you who are so blessed (and my tongue is NOT in my cheek, Rick, I mean that!) Spaw said it really well and I feel the same way!

The URL for the CIUT broadcast is "virtuecast.com" (I learned that at the radio show last night).
