He has recorded some really fine songs over the years, and played with the groups "The Albion Band" and "Home Service" but finally has recorded a solo album called UNITY and it will be released on May 15th on the Topic lable.. Hope he has Over The Hills and Far Away on it..My orders already in ( Dave Eisener at Select Sounds in Bedford did'nt even bother to ask me if I wanted one, he just ordered it for me LOL ) Yours, Aye. Dave

Hi Dave, Great news! John's been a favorite of mine for some time. Do you, or anyone know him enough to have a way of contacting him? e-mail, agent, address, etc.? I've wanted to publish one of his songs in the San Francisco Folk Club's newsletter (the Folknik) but don't know how to find him to get permission.

Yah, DADGBE has some good ideas every now and then.
How can we order that CD here in the US? (I think you're US, Dave, right? So how did you get it?)
Blessings,
Barbara

Sorry, I'm Canada, Nova Scotia. I got it ordered for me via David Eisener of Select Sounds in Bedford N.S. He knew I would want a copy and ordered it for me without even asking me if I wanted one (great guy) I would imagine links in Mudcat Shop could get you a copy? I am unable to give you any contact numbers for John Tams but maybe some of the UK Mudcatters can help with a snail mail address. Hope So. Yours, Aye. Dave

If you want to see him, he is at the Towersey festival, August Bank Holiday (last weekend in Aug). Towersey is not too far from Oxford, UK. Tickets can be got from Mrs Caseys, tvf@mrscasey.co.uk and I will be your friendly steward that says 'oi, you can't park that there!' Sorry, I don't seem able to do the blue clicky thing.
