Subject: MUDCAT TAVERN 2 From: JenEllen Date: 10 May 00 - 12:10 AM Getting a little slow for old 'puters.... Tavern 1 can be found Caitrin's tending bar, the guys and dolls are still fighting over who gets the recliner with the Magic Fingers, Sugar Dog is licking faces in the corner booth, and if memory serves...Bert's credit is still good. The unwanted brassiere pile was getting pretty big, but the lacy ones draped over the lights on the porch make GREAT Chinese Lanterns.... Fair Cait, how's about another round? |

Subject: RE: BS: MUDCAT TAVERN 2 From: wysiwyg Date: 13 May 00 - 11:51 AM .... the Little Red Motorhead pulls up in front of the tavern looking for a friend, and finds a Sugar Dog half passed out in a recliner making sense but rather oddly. Whipping out her diabetic testing kit, she mutters, "Sh*t! Think Sugar Dog mighta got herself too damn sweet!" Jab! Hmmm.... (It's hard to swear phonetically with an asterisk in the middle of the word, but Motorhead is like that.) Results when available...... you'll hear it here first. ~S~ |

Subject: RE: BS: MUDCAT TAVERN 2 From: paddymac Date: 14 May 00 - 10:12 AM There's usually "A Whole Lotta BSin' Gonin' On" in 'catland libation lounges, but sometimes, if ye listen close, ye can actually learn something. Like, well, ferinstance, Mbo's acute observation of the phrase over the pub door: "Ceol Caint Agus Craic". Sent me scramblin' fer me dictionary it did. I've always love "Ceol Agus Craic", but this was the first time I've "heard" it with "Caint" added. I humble wait fer a "native speaker" to enlighten me, but I 'spect it translates as "Music, Chat and Fun". Marvelous goal in life for any self-respecting pub - especially so here in 'catland. Innkeeper! Pintas fer me and the lad. |

Subject: RE: BS: MUDCAT TAVERN 2 From: wysiwyg Date: 16 May 00 - 04:37 PM Update-- Doctor sez Sugar Dog is all wore out an' her regulatory systems is shot to hell. Blood sugar metabolism likely big part of it. Blood drawn for every test possible, and there'll be a heart function one next week too. Awww. You need a heart to live, huh?? Specially if you is a Sugar Dog. I am good for about 3 hours a day of whatever needs to be done. The rest.... laps, live and virtual. Sponge time. Tavern laptime is a big help, and I highly recommend it, along with continued tavern music therapy for maximized healing. The doctor's prescription till tests are back? More lap time. I think I could get used to it. Biskit, could you just arrange those knickers on my recliner, I'll wad them up for a nice nest till a lap comes along.... had the best, I think, with Dave, ye could all learn a lot from Dave's lap.... zzzzzz.... Mm hmm, tunes, I agree, bears. Big Black Bears. zzzz.... ~S~ |
