For those who have been following the Moon River thread creep about Breakfast at Tiffany's, it will be on Turner Classic Movies at NOON CENTRAL, 1PM Mudcat time today. Don't know if there will be later showings. As they say, check your local listings, or in this case, cable listings.

I saw a review of this film recently that said Holly Golightly was a prostitute.

I must be totally dense. I've loved this movie for 40 years and have NEVER realized she was supposed to be a hooker !

What do the rest of you think?

hey Art.....I'd say she was the female version of a gigolo. Opportunistic and manipulative, out for a good time and wanting to be "kept" on her own terms, but HOOKER? No way.
