Subject: Guitar Neck Reset - Great Article From: MK Date: 13 May 00 - 07:18 PM For those true "guitar nerds" like me, and others who might be curious, I just happened upon a fabulous article and pictorial of the step by step process of a neck reset, with the patient being a 1935 Martin OOO-28. Of course the work is being performed by master repairman Frank Ford of Frets.com fame. I'd trade my wife for that guitar! ..and for further arousal, you watch the step by step process in graphic, lurid detail, of the refretting of the same instrument. ...now that's what I call entertainment! *BG* |

Subject: RE: Guitar Neck Reset - Great Article From: Mark Clark Date: 13 May 00 - 09:02 PM Wonderful reference, Michael. What a great wealth of knowledge. Of course I had to snoop around the site and discovered this. Now I'll probably have to sell everything else I own (house, cars, Martin D-41, cat, etc.) just to get one. - Mark |
