To all the thread gods- I know this has no music content and frankly, I don't care. Bite me.

I need to buy something that isn't as yet marketed here in the States. My son Tristan is not yet capable of riding a bike. Karen spent a lot of time looking at options from trikes to carts to all kinds of "Special Needs" products. He doesn't need real outlandish options, but the standard training wheels are too weak and not really adequate. While searching the Net, Karen found what we think will work. I could have a welder come up with something similar, but in the final analysis it would cost about the same. Although this company markets their other products here, these are not.

The guy who makes and sells them: -- Website and Address is HERE--Scroll Down for addy The basic "Balance Trainers" look to be a good solution. I have no idea where the place is.....and also his product may be available in bicycle shops, but I don't know.

Are any of you anyways close to this place? I would really appreciate the help if I could get one of you to send us a set on UPS or FedEx or something. I'll send the money and all or whatever we need to do.....Just let me know if any of you can help.....I'd be forever in your debt.

Thanks.........

Spaw

'Spaw - more than happy to order for you - but I need a US destination address. E-mail me privately at gervase.webb@standard.co.uk and I'll order the wheels and get them sent to you.

Pat, there's no need to send across the pond for 'em. If you scroll down a bit on the page to "Note 2", you'll see an address in Pennsylvania to order from.

Looks as though you can even buy them online with a credit card. That's really wonderful, Spaw, Tris will be so happy.

In fact, I've just spoken to the chap, who is more than happy to send me a set, but he does ask that you keep your lawyers at bay - only because he's managed to seek indemnity for all the other bits of kit he makes, but his own legal eagles won't let him sell the basic set direct to the US in case he's sued over something that they haven't covered in their small print (I don't know if this is because they've incorporated small surgical blades which give a free toenail trim every time the wheels are used, but you never know). Ergo, if you want the wheels, he asks that I send them as a gift to you with no strings attached, as it were. Lord deliver us from lawyers...!

Gee Gerv!!!!! That was not only fast, but really helpful too. I'll send you an e-mail in a bit and again....Thanks.

Allan....The set I want is the one that's NOT available from the PA location. The others are not really needed and I worry a bit over the wheels on the Stabilizer things.

Again, Thanks and I have an e-mail coming your way.

Spaw

I have an idea that I ordered some stabilisers from this guy, way back when, for a person with learning disability. They changed her life and I was impressed with him and his service. If it's the same guy, he came all the way up to Surrey to fit them and check she was happy and safe.Good luck!
