I don't believe it, I have sorted my dad out on e-mail.
He does not understand yet how this will change his life and has been calling me bad names for cocking up his computer. At last I can say to him 'I did it right' I also should say that I have drunk copious amounts of wine.

My dear old aged and venerable just got a computer,too.First thing I did was direct him here, (Hi,Dad, if you're looking in).I read somewhere that a sign that you're a child of the times is that you only write to your mother if she's on e-mail.Guilty, as charged,I'm afraid.

How cool is that?
My mother stopped expecting me to write as soon as we were in the same country, but that took 12 years to achieve.Now we are, I phone, but probably not as often as I should, and e-mail at least a couple of times a week.Ain't communication between generations a wonderful thing?
