Thought you might like to know I found the lyrics for Texaco Star Theatre. The man has a kinescope of one of the shows and wrote down the lyrics. Wasn't that nice of him. Thanks for your help too.

Texaco Star Theatre

(FIRST SERVICEMAN) I wipe the pipe, I pump the gas I rub the hub, I scrub the glass

(SECOND SERVICEMAN) I touch the clutch, I mop the top I poke the choke, I sell the pop

(THIRD SERVICEMAN) I clear the gear, I block the knock I jack the back, I set the clock

(FOURTH SERVICEMAN) So join the ranks of those who know And fill your tank with Texaco!

I checked the rest of the lyrics and they are all correct. Plus, there's a different version at the end of the show! Here's the closing theme

(ALL) The curtain is descending and we thank you for attending But before we reach the ending, may we add Remember to be loyal to our gasoline and oil When they save you time and toil, you'll be glad Now the clock is striking nine-of But just before we sign off -

(SERVICEMAN - spoken) Remember, Tuesdays on television, Milton Berle. Presented by your Texaco dealer!

(ALL - sung) The best friend your car has ever had!
