Subject: Banjo chords for 'Music box dancer' From: Jeep man Date: 21 May 00 - 06:27 PM I will bet someone out there can get me the chords for this little number. Seems like a good one for banjo and mandolin, or twin banjos. Thanks in advance Jim |
Subject: RE: Lyr/Chords Req: Banjo chords for 'Music box d From: Dulci46 Date: 22 May 00 - 05:32 PM Are you wanting Music Box Dancer? I have the sheet music and chords for it but there are no words. At least not to this one. It's a beautiful song and I think would be as good on a banjo as Duelin Banjos |

Subject: RE: Lyr/Chords Req: Banjo chords for 'Music box d From: Mark Clark Date: 23 May 00 - 05:39 PM Here is a MIDI file of the piece. I think I could turn it into a sheet music and chords PDF document if you like the arrangement. I'll be anxious to hear it with banjo and mandolin. - Mark

Subject: RE: Lyr/Chords Req: Banjo chords for 'Music box d From: Mark Clark Date: 25 May 00 - 05:56 PM Jim, you're entirely welcome. The lead sheet doesn't have all the embellishments heard in the MIDI version but I figured you'd want to embellish it in your own way. Listening to the MIDI file makes me think it would be a great hammered dulcimer piece, probably because it started out (I think) as a piano piece. Of course you'll have to play it for us on HearMe when you get it all worked out. - Mark |
