I have just put out a thread (a few days ago) for the Cornish National Anthem, and had some very helpful suggestions including previous threads. Now being a simple country lad I don't no much about these sources of lyrics, but one thing I do know is Trelawney. Admittedly one or two of the word's are different to what I'm used to, but that's know big deal is it my 'ansomes, no cause it's not. I do wish however that people would gets their history right. Well Done Stevie (Lyr add: Song of the western men - 20 Nov 99) You seems to know more than most cornishmen do about there history. As to my own source on the song (the reason for my original thread), I first heard it at a tradional folk session in a pub down Penzance some twenty years gone, and every year since as part of the Trelawney Army (Cornwall County Rugby team supporters). And no we don't sing 'em roudily ( or how ever it were put), we sing 'em with spirit and pride. More later, Got to go.
