...well, since I felt way too guilty beginning a BS thread about Kendall's new car, given the fact that I have ruined my Mudcat reputation for being sane and reasonable by checking into the NYCFTTS and staying long enough to get kicked out(but that's another story)

...how about some songs venerating The Lincoln Continental??? Kendall, you have definitely moved up in the auto world! Is it jet black or baby blue???? harpy

Or, alternatively, are you counting Steve Goodman's Lincoln Park Priatres? About the Chicago towing company? With the Lincoln Park Lagoo-un? I'm from Chicago, we like that one.

Isn't there a 1930s-era dance tune, "The Continental"? Cole Porter, maybe?

Great Zappa reference, there, Big Al ~ I had forgotten that one! More Lincolns (and Lincoln drivers) conform to the image protrayed in that song than to the rockabilly "Hot Rod Lincoln" format.
