Subject: RE: The Saint Patrick's Day Song! From: Mrrzy Date: 25 May 00 - 11:05 PM I didn't know about Patrick being decanonized! I did know about Christopher, and also the FFTKAT that St. Sebastian survived the arrows and died later of unrelated causes. |
Subject: RE: The Saint Patrick's Day Song! From: Davewilkes Date: 25 May 00 - 04:29 PM Gee, I was hoping there would be some mention of Mr. Patrick being removed from the roster of saints of the Roman Catholic Church in 1962. It seems there could be a lot of fun with that. I know my brother, a Knights of Columbus, was crestfallen when he found out he had not been protected by Mr. Christopher who was removed at the same time. |

Subject: RE: The Saint Patrick's Day Song! From: GUEST,Mrr Date: 25 May 00 - 11:02 AM Interesting - I know a song an Irishman inventing the submarine (The Great Fenian Ram) but I hadn't heard the claims to inventing the Csection or Halloween - any songs for those feats, anyone? I thought the Csection was invented by the Romans... which is where the C part comes in. Historians, boasters, anyone? |
