Subject: RE: HearMe at 6:00pm Today! 5/25/00 From: GUEST Date: 25 May 00 - 08:15 PM MBO.. I've really been impressed with what you've been singing lately. Leaps and bounds from where we all started only a few months ago. In fact, I'm looking forward to hearing about a 3-D live performance and how it compares to Hearme. What do you say ? Are their any jams or open stages in your neck of the woods? Get up and go down and get up on that stage!, or in that song circle and sing out!!!! Of course you must wear your Mudcat T-shirt so everyone will know what a fine group of virtual songsters that you represent! :-) JAB Good luck |

Subject: RE: HearMe at 6:00pm Today! 5/25/00 From: katlaughing Date: 26 May 00 - 01:49 AM Embow's new mic really picked up his guitar playing tonight and he did a fantastic job, esp. on the classic stuff. Wow! Reggie Miles came in from the Pacific Northwest and played his own invention which he calls a "nobro" and it was FANTASTIC!!! MAX, YA GOTTA HEAR THIS GUY SING AND PLAY THE BLUES!!! WOW, WE'VE GOTTA GET HIM ON THE RADIO!!! I played the CD of Art Thieme singing "The Great Silkie of Sule Skerry" so folks could hear it, then played and sang along with his "Master of the Sheepfold." The CD is "The Older I Get, the Better I Was." Also, sang:
Walkie in the Parlour (another one of Art's) Read the poem, "Retirement" by Jean Mackie from "A Little Piece of Earth", learned from a Jean Redpath CD, "A Woman of Her Time." Also, read "Warning: I Shall Wear Purple" for Night Owl!**BG** Another poem out of my aunt's old book, I'll post it later as I put it away. And, sang, "Irish Lullabye" Thanks, this is such a wonderful way to share with you all. kat |

Subject: RE: HearMe at 6:00pm Today! 5/25/00 From: reggie miles Date: 27 May 00 - 01:55 AM Thanks a bunch Mbo for posting that link to HearMe. It was really fun when I could stay connected. Some kind of evil cyber-spirits were causing my machine to go bonkers though. But I'll try to get that fixed as soon as possible. This experience has rekindled my excitement in the possibilities that this new fangled contraption has to offer. See you there again. Reggie |
