When carrying cold things in humid weather, (usually drinking water in my case), I put the bottle in a milk bag or similar stiff plastic bag as a second container to catch condensation. This might help with the frozen hand-wipe. CH. |

From: GUEST,Mrr-as-Heloise Date: 01 Jun 00 - 10:09 AM I've discovered that wetting a washcloth thoroughly, wringing it out fairly well but not as much as possible, and then freezing it gives the best hot-weather quick clean. Freeze it in a ziplock baggie the night before your gig. Then when you need it, it will be stiff when you first take it out but refreshingly cold, and as you go through your whatever, thaw progressively but remain refreshing for a long time. Stick back in baggie inbetween and it won't drip on anything while not in use. Dry hands on pants if there is extra moisture, but there ought not to be... |

It's a clear alcohol gel, you rub a dollop into your hands and it essentially dries itself. I find it works great, and it's easy to carry in an instrument case. |
