Chart & Compass are essential elements in the song, and they are words that can't be mistaken. If the song doesn't include those words, it's probably not the song.

I searched my bookshelves and cannot find my copy of Foursquare Hymnal, complete with a copy of the signature and fetching image of Aimee Semple McPherson, so I can't check out her "Sailing o'er the Sea of Life," that Q suggested.

I have been looking for this song for years! My grandparents used to sing in a quartet and we would sing this song with them on road trips. I hope to find the rest of the words and music one day.
