Hmmm, sorry about the link not working. The url seems right so maybe it's the way the Independent have set up their site.

If you go to The Independent's Home Page, click on 'Enjoyment' and then 'Music' you should find the article 'Return of the Dream Weaver'

(I suspect that these instuctions will only remain accurate for the next 12 hours or so - I've saved a copy of the article, so send me a personal message if the above doesn't work)

Dreamweaver is indeed the programme. It is on at 01.25 (early hours of the 29th).

Who was it that said that assumption was the mother of all F***-ups?

Strangely, there is a Billy Connolly 'stand-up' show recorded in Glasgow, scheduled for 11.20 on BBC 1, but this depending on the football ending on time. Sorry for the wrong info.

Hi Shambles your video will only play tapes recorded in American (NTSC) format not record in NTSC unfortunately.

Easy Rider, I can record the program into NTSC for you we have a conversion VCR in work. The only problem may be that I am off on holiday for two weeks from the following Saturday so I may not get the chance to do this until I get back. Otherwise no problems.

Read the instruction manual. Does it say HOW to record in American VHS format? Is there a switch, to go back and forth between formats?

I have a VCR that says I can play US format tapes on it. Does anyone know if a programme taped on such a machine would produce a tape that could be played on a US machine?

As I understand it, this is a documentary on Bert Jansch.

I hope somebody can record it, in North American VHS format, and send it to me or some other Mudcatter, who can then copy it and distribute it, at cost, to other interested Mudcatters, here in the Colonies.
