Just wanted to remind ya'll, that Rick Fielding's radio show, Acoustic Workshop, with the very able Duckboots backing up, will be on tonight, as every Monday at 7pm Toronto time, which is the same as Mudcat, if I remember right. As some of you may know it has been unavailable on the Internet for awhile. Last week was the first time I got to hear it since it has been back on the Web and it was wonderful to hear them again, as well as their guests!

I've just checked this link and it is working fine, so give it a listen, if you can. It is a great show and not to be missed!

I called tonight and asked. Heather says they aren't able to record the show, yet, Joe.

The show really sounds great and very clear, here in Wyoming. It is wonderful to hear Rick and Heather, again, as well as Kathy and Arnie!

Well Rick had a really grand show tonight.....very much of a jam session really. Arnie and kathy were wonderful guests and the songs were right down my alley including a couple of well known Carter family numbers. Skarpi called and talked to the "third banana," Professor Pete, although they couldn't get him live. Nice show all around, very relaxed. Rick plugged the 'Cat several times too.

BTW, Arnie and Kathy.......I assume Mary Elizabeth sent you the article out of the "Southern Travel" newspaper which had a feature about her and Neil??? It was very cute and well done.

Well, I missed it again. Arizona is not on Daylight Saving time and I'm assuming Toronto time is three hours ahead of us but I've got to check. Aw shucks.

I clicked on the link in the first message here, and my computer asked me what program I wanted to use to open the file. It offered a list of about ten, almost none of which I have ever heard of. What should I have told it?

Guest, leenia, RealAudio I think is the one you want to use. you should check it out. It is a very good show, though my working hours don't permit me to listen to it anymore. Rick, is there a way you can get your program archived?

Yes, leenia - go to realaudio.com and click the "download" link on the top of the splash page banner, then select the "freeplayer" option at the lower left of the screen and follow the directions. It will take a few minutes depending upon the time of day and the speed of your connection, but it's worth the wait.

By the way, if you click here you'll go right to the Rela Player download page.

I have had an awful lot of "Net Congestion" for the show tonite and when I've gotten it, its been tough hearing the words of the other folks. Too far away frrom h mics perhaps? Didn't get enough to tell much about what was going on.
