Subject: RE: Help: UK Mudcat T Shirts From: Peter T. Date: 29 Jun 00 - 03:03 PM The day you make one in white cotton with just the logo, I will buy it. yours, Peter T. |
Subject: RE: Help: UK Mudcat T Shirts From: Kohoutek Date: 29 Jun 00 - 02:57 PM I was about to buy a shirt, but now that I've learned that they are polyester, I'm afraid I won't bother. Sorry to Bill Sables if he's gone out of his way informing his wife of my request etc... Quite amazed that anyone still does polyester, thought that we lost that along with the '80s I'd pay several dollars more for a cotton one K. |
Subject: RE: Help: UK Mudcat T Shirts From: GUEST,Mrr Date: 29 Jun 00 - 12:39 PM Will send pm when back at home with cookie, thanks. Meanwhile I vote strongly for all-cotton, in fact I'm not sure I'd'a ordered one if I'd realized it wasn't. Oh, what the, I'd have ordered one anyway. |
Subject: RE: Help: UK Mudcat T Shirts From: Jon Freeman Date: 29 Jun 00 - 12:34 PM Well, I have yet to buy one but I keep toying with the idea and I will end up buying one. I am not worried about color but I would prefer to pay the extra dollar for a pure cotton shirt. Jon |
Subject: RE: Help: UK Mudcat T Shirts From: Skipjack K8 Date: 29 Jun 00 - 11:56 AM I bought a Mudcat T Shirt from Bill Sables, and now I can play even more tunes on my box. Bill Sables Mudcat T Shirts really do help your playing! Buy one today! What the hell's going on over at PUBLIC APOLOGY? Folks taking rolled up newspapers to themselves by the look of it. Skipjack |
Subject: RE: Help: UK Mudcat T Shirts From: Mrs.Duck Date: 28 Jun 00 - 03:33 PM Llanfair I can assure you that the largest size will be baggy!! I have one and if it fits me it will fit anyone!! |
Subject: RE: Help: UK Mudcat T Shirts From: Vixen Date: 28 Jun 00 - 08:53 AM Dick-- I hear what you're saying about the logo/shirt contrast. It *does* show up much better on the navy. I think it would look ok on a wheat/natural color. It might be nice on a pale pink or pale yellow, but I'm not sure how many of us feel comfortable in pale pink or pale yellow. Aqua sure is a tough color to put on a background! (But *don't* change the logo! It's terrific!) In any case, *I* don't mind paying an extra dollar for the comfort (and thereby extended use) of cotton. Just my $0.02! V |
Subject: RE: Help: UK Mudcat T Shirts From: Llanfair Date: 28 Jun 00 - 04:40 AM I haven't ordered one yet, because I don't think you do xxxl (I like them baggy), but I can't wear polycotton for the same reason as vixen, so I'll wait till cotton ones are available. Hwyl, Bron. |
Subject: RE: Help: UK Mudcat T Shirts From: dick greenhaus Date: 27 Jun 00 - 08:46 PM V- The color change was to make the logo more visible. If enough people want it, I can change back to all-cotton, but it costs a buck more per shirt. |
Subject: RE: Help: UK Mudcat T Shirts From: Vixen Date: 27 Jun 00 - 01:43 PM On the topic of mudcat teeshirts.... I have two, an "old" one (medium blue, 100% cotton) and a "new" one (navy blue, 50/50 cotton/polyester). I don't like my "new" one for two reasons...I don't like polyester (it makes me sweat more) and the color is too dark for comfort on a sunny summer day (it makes me sweat more!). I really don't want to be a fussbudget about this...what do other Mudcats think? Could the next batch be in a lighter blue (or some other lightish color) and 100% cotton? V (being a crabby fussbudget anyway!)
