Reading an interesting article on the Everly Brothers in this month's Acoustic Guitar magazine, they make reference to being influenced by the interesting harmonic style of the "Bell Sisters" from Canada. Anyone know anything about these ladies?

yours, Peter T.

Hey Peter, you are talking to a FAN here! . . . except they weren't from Canada. Check them out at http://www.bellsisters.com/ The site is operated by their nephew, Rex Strother (their real name) and I see he has news of a possible CD of their music in the works. Cynthia and Kay Bell were 16 and 11 when they had a hit with Bermuda (composed by Cynthia) in 1951. I still have the my old RCA 78 of Bermuda/June Night.
