Subject: Saw a great concert last weekend From: keltcgrasshoppper Date: 27 Jun 00 - 06:21 PM Last weekend we had the honor of seeing Roy Book Binder in concert. There were only about 40 people in a tiny coffee house in Connecticut. What a treat he must be one of the best southern Blues players around. He told wonderful stories about all of the old blues players..It was a wonderful evening..Has anyone else ever seen him?? KGH |

His CD - "Don't Start Me Talking" or something like that - seems to fit your description of his concert perfectly as it is a live recording. On the CD Jorma Kaukonen joins him as well. Some great ramblings about Rev. Gary Davis, Pink Anderson, Dave Van Ronk, etc. are woven into the songs. I am jealous. dw |
