In responce to the request that the old thread is too long...
We - even we who are not liberal but dyed in the wool, true to the bone, unrepentant REDS! don't need exicutions to have retorical amunition to use against that little drug using child of privilege with his hands on the switch who wants his finger on the big button!
(As General Wolff said, as he lay dieing on the Planes of Abraham, "Send in the Otways" HE knew we were trouble!

If my tongue had not been so firmly planted in my cheek when I posted my last message, I would have done what I should have done: let this thread go bye bye. I heard a report on one of the news shows about another fellow in Texas who is scheduled to meet his maker at Huntsville, Texas and just couldn't resist posting. So many folks here at the Mudcat get such pleasure in kicking Texas around anyhow.

Well, as a born original Texan, I sort of hate to see the good folks of that fair State kicked around. That's where my roots are, Amergin!

Hey DougR -- do you recall that grand ol' Aggie football play, the Clothesline?? What's say you and me get Amergin to play a little touch game with us?

I believe the correct expression is Exas "are," and generally they are found hanging out with Osas, aren't they?

Dear Amergin,

If you study your map, you'll find that Exas is south of Klahoma, east of Olorado, and west of Ouisiana. It also shares a border with the county of Exico.

P.S. We've got a little game of touch football going out in the backyard, you sure you don't wanna come out and play??? (hehehehe)

Well, I've often heard talk of Merica. 'king big place, so I've heard.

I never understood why the Republic of Texas didn't stay independent in the first place.

Sorry, Aine, I'm a lover, not an athlete. I wouldn't be of much help to you in a touch football game. Now if you want to start a game of "Post Office", or "Knocking For Love," I excelled at those as a young lad in Central Texas.

I always thought exas were those people that used to be married to someone before the ivorce.
