The Mudcat Locator (Quick links/Mudcat Resources/Muscat Locator) doesn't show anyone in Austria, but there's one 'catter in Bavaria anyway.

I wish a few more people would put their location in there - it's not streets or even towns, just counties in Engkland, or States in the USA and so forth. But it helps remind us we're linking around the world here. And it can be handy sometimes too.

You go to the Mudcat Resources page, Homeless (ie, Quick Links/Mudcat Resources), and click on the Blue Clicky saying Max. And then you become the second identifiable 'Catter in Indiana!

That's unless some lother fella gets in first and pushes you into number three. Go for it NOW

Hi everybody!

Well, I just got on this page while looking for "street-musician´s-links". May I ask all the buskers around on their way, background, and motives for becoming a street musician? Myself, I am playing guitar and sing (suppose not that good yet), I like the old Beatles songs, Crowded House, Oasis, Deep Blue Something,...I am turning over in my mind whether and how to live as a busker, maybe for one year going around Europe or beyond, with a nice collection of guitar songs...I am not a professional musician...may be you have a recommendation also on how to contact one or two persons for such an undertaking, having the same idea...

Thorsten, there was was a thread about this recently giving advice on busking -- you could search in the Digitrad and Lyrics Forum Search space. I can't remember the title. Can anyone else recall what the title was and link it here? I don't remember that it had busker in the title.

Alan - A shrimp is just a smaller version of a prawn! They're stonger-tasting, dryer, and much smaller & fiddlier to peel. They come in pink & brown varieties, and are maybe 2cm long. I think we in the UK may be the only ones that bother with catching, cooking, peeling (yawn!) & eating them - I haven't seen them anywhere else in Europe or the US.

Servus Neil! ,your german seems better than mine,I kind of knew the word 'Gemutlikeit'but had to look it up to be sure.Tis true I have found some of that here. -Bartholemew-,Sorry I dont have any shrimps and I've never owned a barbie (not to mention a Ken),but its ok cos I'm sure my goof rating is way above yours. -Sledge,I've been to Vienna twice ,but white horses?-I saw some light brown cows on the way ,does that count?. Please explain the equine enigma. -Thorsten,I have been busking for years my first time was in Sydney(Devonshire st Tunnel at Central) It came about from a severe need of money then turned out to be very enjoyable( by the 20th time).Now my act includes a foot operated dancing cow (wearing Lederhosen) viel Glück,with your busking.

The Devonshire Street tunnel is still the liveliest place for buskers. All other busking activity in Sydney has been severely curtailed leading up to Olympics nonsense.
