Not many folksingers have a museum named after them and how many have been chosen to play the part of Woody Guthrie on stage?

"cause there's bacon to fry
and there's biscuits to bake
on the stove that the Salvation Army
won't take
and you open the windows
and you turn on the fan
'cause it's hotter than hell
when the sun hits the land

Saw that program too.....Is there a collection or archive of ACL available on tape I wonder? Lots of good acts over the years.

I really like these Texas Troubadours. Steven was featured on Lyle Lovett's album "Step Inside This House". Other artists on the CD include Townes Van Zant,Guy Clark, Eric Taylor, Walter Hyatt and David Rodriguez.

Great CD, by the way. Happy to hear your comments on "Texas Folk" and it's place in our musical family tree.

Thanks, Mac...
