It's Huw and Tony Williams in fact

Out of the east we came to the homelands,
Generations tumbling their way.
From the high plateaus to the rocky rivers,
We travelled where our herds could graze.
Across the endless plains to the river valleys
We moved and scattered our kin.
Each generation bound for a nation
We settled and crowned our king.

CHORUS: We drove our cattle, planted our seeds.
The great rivers weep. The brown earth bleeds.
In the end, you deliver thanks to the giver,
And never take more than you need.
Then the spirit within you is freed.

Tribe fought tribe and clan fought clan.
We mourned and buried our slain.
We trembled at the magic of the witchman,
And tried to feed when the famine came.
Our king was cruel. His heart was ruled
By a fire that was burning inside,
But we the Usuth, pride of the Zulu,
Learned how to win and survive.

We tended our ground. We taught our children,
A spear to strike a shield to defend.
But at the great Fish River, we saw the white man
Coming with his paper and pen.
He told us how to live. He told us how to die.
He tore at the earth and the sea.
For the diamonds and coal, we sold our soul,
And in the turn of a page you can see,
How we are robbed of our own destiny.

I think you can hear it on H&T's album "Rosemary's Sister"
