Subject: RE: BS: Seamus Kennedy From: catspaw49 Date: 11 Jul 00 - 09:53 PM Yeah, but what do you know Kendall? My boy Meebo says you're a Folk Nazi 'cause you don't know about "Harvey Smegma and the Electric Limp Whankers." But just on the off chance you're right in this case (and I like Seamus a lot around here), perhaps you'd care to tell us where you or Alison acquired said CD's?!?!?!? Spaw |

Subject: RE: BS: Seamus Kennedy From: JedMarum Date: 11 Jul 00 - 11:30 PM .. and he's our own Seamus Kennedy, too. He is a gem! Kendall, I agree and have been enjoying his music and his humor on his CDs, as well his live show - he was a real treat at the North Texas Irish Festival. There was a thread a few months back on Seamus at the NTIF. And you can get to his site by clicking here. |

Subject: RE: BS: Seamus Kennedy From: Clifton53 Date: 12 Jul 00 - 12:05 AM I've commented on Seamus in the past. A friend of mine gave me a few tapes some years ago and I was amazed at his comedic power, but at the same time, I was quite taken with his balladry, as well as the well-honed chops he displays. Unfortunately, I was forced at gunpoint to return said CD's, and have been Jonesing to hear 'Old MacDonald Had A Deformed Farm' ever since. Hope to meet the man someday. Clifton53 |
Subject: RE: BS: Seamus Kennedy From: Seamus Kennedy Date: 12 Jul 00 - 02:10 AM Folks, thank you all for the kind words., but I'm uncomfortable with promoting my stuff on the forum. I do have other outlets for the commercial end of my music/humor, and if you contact me in the personals I'll be glad to discuss it with you. WyoWoman, that's no way to get to meet Bartholomew the Magnificent! (BG) All the best. Seamus |
