Subject: RE: M'Cat Mimosa's HARP & voice CD is ready! From: catspaw49 Date: 15 Jul 00 - 02:50 PM Geeziz kat.....Did you get the harp recordings of the sex movies? If its the former, I really need to get a few bucks up for this as Mimosa was superb over HearMe. If its the latter, just what else was going on with that crew in your living room? Is there a tape of THAT? Spaw |
Subject: RE: M'Cat Mimosa's HARP & voice CD is ready! From: katlaughing Date: 15 Jul 00 - 02:37 PM WOW!! I just got my CD this morning...what a lovely and powerful voice and beautiful harp, Matt. Just gorgeous...I would LOVE to hear you in full stage opera, too! Your voice is so commanding, full, and rich. I KNEW that, but hearing you, again, brought tears to my eyes for the way you touch my heart with your music and your presence when you were here. It was almost as though you were here again, in my living room, just as magical as with Bill and Allan. I hope nobody ever pinches me and I wake up from such a wonderful experience! Thanks, friend, another Mudcat Contact Spreads the Good Around somemore! luvyakat |

Subject: RE: M'Cat Mimosa's HARP & voice CD is ready! From: Sorcha Date: 14 Jul 00 - 08:15 PM Mimosa, I do understand that completely!! As soon as I get my vacation overdrafts and the IRS (gack, aarrgghh, upchuck)paid, I want to order one. Don't try to save one for me tho, I don't know how long the above will take, and we can always hope it goes to edition II. |
Subject: RE: M'Cat Mimosa's HARP & voice CD is ready! From: Matt Woodbury/Mimosa Date: 14 Jul 00 - 08:09 PM Thanks for the thread, Kat. You're all so kind. I 've been away from the computer for a few days, in Mudcat withdrawal. I plan to send one on to Max for Mudcat radio.I've had a chance to play it for guests here at the ranch. I'd rather play live. It's like showing home movies of myself making love. Aaaaak!! Anyway, I'd love to hear from people. Mimosa |

Subject: RE: M'Cat Mimosa's HARP & voice CD is ready! From: Mbo Date: 12 Jul 00 - 09:12 AM I was there when kat had the live feed session from her place. Mimosa was awesome! Also kind of spooky...he sounds like he should be on Carnegie Hall or something...beautiful harp playing and an amazing operatic voice. I requested "The Rose" (cuz I means so much to me) and he actually played it for me! It was gorgeous...made me just lean back and sigh... --Mbo (GET THE CD, PEOPLE!) |
Subject: RE: M'Cat Mimosa's HARP & voice CD is ready! From: bill\sables Date: 12 Jul 00 - 08:35 AM What else can I say that hasn't already ben said. Matt is a very fine singer with a voice that I envy, and his harp playing has to be heard as well as seen (by anyone over the age of 15) Cheers Bill |

Subject: RE: M'Cat Mimosa's HARP & voice CD is ready! From: Sorcha Date: 12 Jul 00 - 12:34 AM Listen up, gang.........I was at kat's house too, and was priviliged enough to hear this guy sing. HE IS WONDERFUL!! He just opens his mouth, and out falls this fantastic warm molasses baritone. You really need this CD in your collection. Order now, while supplies last!! |
Subject: RE: M'Cat Mimosa's HARP & voice CD is ready! From: Allan C. Date: 11 Jul 00 - 06:18 PM I had the good fortune to hear Mimosa (Matt) perform at least three of the selections in kat's livingroom. The beauty of his harp playing made a perfect background for the amazingly beautiful voice it accompanied. I will consider myself fortunate to have experienced Matt's music live and can hardly wait to order a copy of his CD. For those of you who missed the HearMe link-up from kat's house, Mimosa has a wonderful, classically trained voice with which he produces tones as bright as sunshine or as soft as candlelight. He is a very talented guy! |
Subject: RE: M'Cat Mimosa's HARP & voice CD is ready! From: catspaw49 Date: 11 Jul 00 - 06:07 PM Geez Mimosa....Don't hide it under a bushel man!!!! Those of us who were in the HearMe session which kat held with Allan and Bill got to hear this guy live and even over HearMe, it was great. He has a wonderful voice and the harp is beautiful. The "harpists" among us definitely need to latch onto this. Nice touch. Thanks for starting this one kat. Spaw |
Subject: M'Cat Mimosa's HARP & voice CD is ready! From: katlaughing Date: 11 Jul 00 - 04:09 PM Any of you who were at my house when Bill and Allan were here, or heard us all in HearMe when they were here, will know that Mimosa has a gorgeous voice and plays harp beautifully. And, his little dog, Puck, was a perfect gentleman.*BG* Anyway, we all immediately harassed him about a CD, at which point he 'fessed up about one being almost ready, with promises to let us know when. Well! You may now click here and order your own copy from the Diamond D Ranch where guests get to hear him nightly, midst the backdrop of the Grand Tetons. Having Mimosa singing with his harp at my house transported me to another time and place, out of the pages of history...a glimpse of what it might've been like to have your own "Bardic" voice to command...absolutely brilliant and I cannot recommend this CD highly enough. For his homepage with pics of him and his two harps, both of which I got to touch, *smile*, please click here. (Take a closer look at the smaller one and you will see why it brought a smile to our faces.) Thanks, Mimosa, for letting us know and good luck. I know I am going to really love hearing you, again, even if it's not in person. luvyakat |
