It's on the list but the lyrics aren't there; "A NATION ONCE AGAIN" can anyone help or explain this to me.

My guess would be copyright related...

I did a search among threads and came up with a first verse and chorus with chords posted and an extra verse...whoops, didn't note the links....type Nation once again in the Filter and select 3 years.....then rummage thru the 5 or so links....in the meantime I am going to check another source to see what I might find.

Sometimes the search engines and index of songs here can be weird. It is in the DT at http://www.mudcat.org/@displaysong.cfm?SongID=53&Title=A%20NATION%20ONCE%20AGAIN.

Jon

PS nice to see you Mary - I haven't seen you post in a while

Try typing [a nation] in the SEARCH BLOCK!

the BRACKETS are a useful tool

But it is weird. The search seems not to approve of the word 'once' even in brackets. Try it!

It is known that the searches can take exception to a word for no apparent reason and sometimes to do have to try a number of searches using the different engines, different sets of keywords, etc before finding what you are looking for.

This problem does occasionally get reported in the help forum and as far as I understand it, not even Max has managed to explain why it happens. Other than persevering if you are looking for a song that you feel sure must be in the DT, it may be worth downloading the DT Database. I don't know about the Mac version but the PC program which is a DOS program is reported to have a more reliable search facility.
