Subject: RE: Tune Req: Jenny Lind Polka From: GUEST,guitarist Date: 14 Jul 00 - 10:36 AM http://trillian.mit.edu/~jc/cgi/abc/TuneFind?P=jenny+lind+polka&F0=find+%28min%29 Not sure how that link will end up formatted, it may hit a line break and be difficult to copy. If so use this one: http://trillian.mit.edu/~jc/music/abc/FindTune.html and just type "jenny lind polka" in the box. |

Subject: RE: Tune Req: Jenny Lind Polka From: John in Brisbane Date: 14 Jul 00 - 10:12 PM Bob Bolton would be able to comment more capably than I, but Jenny Lind is used a lot for Australian folk dances. I read once upon a time that Ms Lind was a well known Swedish opera singer of the 19th century. Great tune.
MV this is the second request for dulcimer TAB in the last few days. Do you have a program to convert from MIDI or ABC notation? I am trying to get a DOS based version from MIDI to work - without success. Regards, John |
