I've been meaning to thank those that mentioned the Dartmoor Folk Festival(South Zeal, England)last summer. I tried to catch the end of Sidmouth but was overwhelmed and rained out. But the Dartmoor Fest was a jewel, great music in the pubs, great celidh with excellent caller and good dancers. And the ale! I lost my heart to Sharp's Doom Bar, the best ale I've tasted! They were very civil to me, an unknown yank, let me lead a song and even clog a bit! I recommend the festival to all.
