If you are going to do a typo, do it in the thread title.

Eliza Carthy, of course.

I'd love to be at home to listen to this, but I'm going to be there. Oh well, guess you can't have it all.

Some friends are performing at the WOMAD festival-they're called MARA!,a unique band from Australia. Two of them, the guitar player and the singer, come from a folk(a very solid one...)and renaissance music background, the others are jazz musicians. They usually perform bulgarian/eastern Euro music, but their british/celtic/breton repertoire is really interesting, with unknown tunes and so on. I find them superbe. As I'll never get a chance to see the BBC broadcasting(wrong side of the planet...),please let me know if you've seen them and what do you think. (Also let me know if I should start a specifical"WOMAD"thread for it...)
