I did play a tune called 'Peter's Cabin'
It came about while I was at my girlfriend's cabin up north. Peter T. had inspired me on one of his Thoughts for the Day to take a closer look at my surroundings.
So I did and from that, this tune came about.

I didn't sing last night but I played a little practical joke that had those present going for a couple of minutes.

And the practical jpke was - putting up an incredibly believable notice that said "HearMe will be shutting down in fifteen minutes for essential (somethingorother).."

About thirteen of us on the time and we ALL fell for it.

Panic stations all over the world at the prospect of being denied HearMe.

Very very funny though.

Catrin

I think this may have been the best 'HearMe' that I have yet Heard! Certainly couldn't drag myself away until some ungodly hour of the morning, despite having to go to w**k today.

I sang:

Molly Bawn: trad
The Sandgate Dandle: trad
Here, There and Everywhere: Lennon/McCartney
and the trad. song that starts 'I am 18 years old today Mama and I'm longing to be wed'.

I also joined in with lots of songs sung by multifarious multitalented others!

I was asked for the words of the Sandgate Dandle and am still looking to find them written down somewhere as I'm not too sure of some phrases….. I may start a thread on this if I don't find it.

Just checked in (Mon. 7/17; 9:30 US eastern time) and no one was there. Will take the guitar out on the porch and annoy the neighbors for 1/2 hour or so and try again.

Peter.
