I was listening to a radio folk show in the am, southeast Connecticut in 1992 or 3 and heard a song with a line or chorus something like "it's every American's right to live in your car". Does anybody know who-what-where about this song? I haven't got much computer savy, I hope I can get back into this forum. Thanks, DJ

Found it! It's by Lou and Peter Berryman. I've heard many of their songs, but not this one. However, I found a reference to it, with the chorus quoted as being "No one denies your right to live in your car."

There web site is at http://members.aol.com/berrymanp/ My guess is that the song you want is the one with the title "Family Car".

Jacob
