Subject: Send for Kaiser From: GUEST,Kim Waters Date: 21 Jul 00 - 04:12 PM I'm trying to locate a song from ca. 1945 called, I believe, "Send for Kaiser". It is about construction tycoon Henry J. Kaiser and refers to his ability to build things and do things that, "can't be done". Any help would be greatly appreciated. |
Subject: RE: Lyr Req: Send for Kaiser From: Sourdough Date: 22 Jul 00 - 02:16 AM It's hard to believe that anyone would be looking for this song. Yes, I know of the song. I recently was looking at sheet music for it. Unfortunately, I didn't write down the lyric but the title is, "Call for Henry Kaiser". The sheet music I saw is in the University of California's Bancroft Library. I am in and out of there several times a year. Why don't you caontact me directly and I will see if I can help you get a photocopy or a recording if that is of more interest? Sourdough |
