you are invited to a festival.......the hemrick family singers presents..SHINDIG IN THE PASTURE...oct.14th..12noon - 6:00pm edt.featuring the hemrick family singers and 5 other bands,a mixture of bluegrass and old-time bands performing the tradtional music of the blue ridge and appalachian mountains and foothills.food concessions/hand crafts welcome.bring lawn chairs,event will be held outside.....alcoho and drug laws will be enforced...absolutely no dogs on the grounds. event is held at CHUCK HEMRICK farm......located in rural hall, n.c.. rural hall is located north of winston-salem,n.c..take highway 52 north from winston-salem to highway 65,the rural hall exit.take highway 65 east to the rural hall fire dept..turn right onto college street. go to last house or Pasture on right..........admission...free! donations will be accepted to cover cost of port-a -johns....for informtion call...336-969-9024...or e-mail chuck hemrick [e-mail]
