Yikes!!! A dream is coming true! Back then Buffy was like God herself to me...now she's a really nice, bright lady that I enjoy getting a chance to see perform now and then.

Coincidence: I just got a catalogue offering "The Best Of The Vanguard Years" with two previously unreleased recordings from the Carnegie Hall concert. $15.95 CD. PM me if you need more info although I believe Dick can get it for you.

On the Buffy Sainte-Marie CD in the "Best of the Vanguard Years" series, there are two previously unreleased songs, versions of Leonard Cohen's "Bird on a Wire" and Billie Holiday's "God Bless the Child"   that were recorded at Carnegie Hall in 1968.

I have seen that ad for the Live Album. I have never seen the album myself but I know a Belgian collector who swears he has it...

I was a Buffy fan more through her association with Pat Sky of whom I'm a big fan. I don't recall an album but I'll check around a bit LH.

Was and am a dedicated Buffy fan. I lost all my albums in a fire in the mid 70s, so I can't look, but I don't remember such an album and thought I had all of them at that time. Of course, there's a lot I don't remember about the 60s and 70s (okay, and 80s). Will have to investigate.

One time I was looking at the sleeve inside a Vanguard album of Buffy Sainte-Marie, and there was a little ad for an album of Buffy Live at Carnegie Hall. This would have been in the late 60's or very early 70's. I think that Vanguard jumped the gun on that ad and in fact never released the album, but I may be wrong. Does anyone know anything about this? I would sell my guinea pig's soul to get a copy of such an album!
